UMD is an information display system mad to be allocated under the studio monitors. It is composed by different displays, a controller and eventually by an aux panel. Many special functions can be activated by program, serial control, SETEL serial link and external events. Each display has two red light acting as “on air” warning.
TCS-CTRL3 is the central unit that addresses the related connected displays (UMD).
It is also the interface towards the system made-up of routing switchers, control panels, auxiliary panels and mixers from which it receives the information to be displayed.
PSP-AUX is a clean contact device that works as a repeater of the commands coming from TCS-CTRL3 through a dedicated serial line. It can be useful to light on the red lamps on the cameras, studios and so on. However the contacts can be fully configured for different functions, also according to inputs coming from outside the system...
